I am interested in examining the impact of gaming on relationships and skill-building for individuals, couples, and families, including the potential for examining the effectiveness of multiplayer games as interventions to enhance relational skills for all constellations. Further research interests are in the coping skills neurodivergent people use in relationships, as partners, friends, and parents, and how parenting skills may change for neurodivergent children, as well as experiences of polyamorous clients in therapy.
I have been doing research since I was a freshman at Texas Tech University, bringing my total years of research experience to 9 years. I am also an alumni of the Center for Integration of STEM Research and Education (CISER) and the Pi^2 research program.
