Voting is our civic duty as a citizen and resident in the United States. At A New Chapter Therapy, I know that policies at the local, state, and federal levels effect our ability to live safe, supported, and satisfied lives. As a therapist, I see the impacts that policies that center corporations and the rich affect everyone else.
I believe, as a therapist, everyone should:
Have access to clean drinking water and nutritious, safe food.
Have access to safe, clean, stable shelter and working utilities.
Have access to preventative, urgent, and emergency healthcare that won't break the bank.
Have access to stable internet connection and cell service.
Have access to transportation.
Have access to a variety of job paths.
Have access to high-quality education.
Have access to vote.Â
Have access to marry, birth/foster/adopt children, and have the funerary rites they want.
Have access to safety in their own home, on the streets, in businesses, and in every public service building.
Have access to a paycheck that allows them to afford the cost of living in their area.
Have access to a better quality environment and cleaner energy.
Be able to have what they need to thrive.
As a part of this stance, you can be guaranteed that I will ALWAYS vote for the candidate that is for the people - and whose policies will provide the most benefit for my clients. See below for my planned picks for 2026 (list subject to change as I learn more information).
